Happy Lunar New Year!

How time flies, Chinese New Year is just this weekend.

Just for info, the dates changes every year according to the Lunar Calendar.

For this year, it falls on 10th February. If you are interested to know how we celebrate them here, you can read more about it, here. :)

Check out these cute red envelopes that we are giving out this year!

This is the first time after our wedding that Skylar and I are giving out red envelopes to the little children or single adults!

(all the letterings are suppose to be in shiny gold.. but guess is difficult to capture them in photos due to my poor camera skills poor lightings. ^^)

Happy New Year everyone!

How was your holiday?

Time just got away fast when you are having a great time right?!

We spend the holidays gathering with family and friends and feasting and more gatherings and even more feasting.. now is time to start exercising (argghh.. >_<" ) to make up for it..

Thank you to all your wonderful recommendations earlier, 

i have started a new television series - Once Upon a Time! 

The story is so cleverly written in such a way that all the fairytales are all link to one another. 

Is a great show! you got to try it, if you are one who loves fairytales and mystery!

And... I have also finish my Poetica Quilt!

The finished quilt measures 32inch by 38inch, and i quilt it with simple lines.

It will be a gift for my niece Jaymee. I hope she likes them. : )

I will be flying off to Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow for a 4 days holiday with Skylar and our friends. My office work has been so hectic recently and i have been working a lot of late nights for the past two months due to year end closing.

I am so looking forward to this short trip for a nice break. : )

(although i will sure miss my weekend sewing time : ) ).

keeping calm

We will be having a public holiday on Monday!

This means, we will be having a long weekend!! yippee!!

I've just started a new television series - Alcatraz

Is only one season long with 13 episodes.

Hopefully it will last me until September, where all my favorite television series return for a new season! can't wait!! ^^

So this weekend, beside watching my new TV series, i will

and hopefully Skylar will have the time to

A Handmade Christmas

This year is my first Christmas with Skylar as my hubby and also giving handmade gifts!
So much excitement going on!!

I made these cutesy bags using Jeni's very very popular tutorial!

It was such fun and easy to put them together! 

I guess, i can easily make another dozen more on the go! hee!

I used them as gifts bags for my christmas presents to all my dear friends.
