ReplyDeletebeautiful fabrics! I spent my weekend doing some organizing and packing for an upcoming quilting retreat :)
ReplyDeleteWell, most weekends I do laundry, and give a quick clean to the bathroom before running the sweeper. This past weekend was a bit different since it was Labor Day - we went to a party to visit with friends from our high school/college years, and it was the best time I've ever had at one of these. And that's saying a lot, because we've been having this annually for 18 years. :)
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I'm going to a food festival with my best friend and her family. So I'll probably taste some samples and take lots of photos. On Sunday I usually clean the house, not so fun, but needs to be done :)

Tending to kittens took a fair bit of time this weekend--because they are so cute, a quick task turns into a long session of cooing over them and laughing at their antics. And when I wasn't doing chores, I was reading Louise Penny's new book, "A Beautiful Mystery". Such an incredibly good book.
ReplyDeleteNow that Fall is here I spend my weekends watching football. Real women watch football ... and sew!!!
